Urgent eye care in Bellflower
Eye doctors have the tools to see what urgent care and the ER often can’t. When we’re open, we’ll do our best to see you the same day.
Why an eye doctor beats urgent care for eyes
General urgent care clinics usually don’t have the microscopes and eye-specific tools needed to examine the surface and inside of the eye. That can mean a vague diagnosis, the wrong drops, or a referral back to an eye doctor anyway.
We can magnify, stain and photograph your eye to find exactly what’s wrong, then treat it on the spot. Call (562) 867-4716 as early in the day as you can.

Go to the ER or call 911 for sudden loss of vision, a chemical splash (rinse with clean water for 15 minutes first), an object stuck in the eye, or a serious injury to the eye or face.

Frequently asked questions
Still have questions? Call (562) 867-4716.
What counts as an eye emergency?
Sudden vision loss, chemical exposure, penetrating injuries and severe trauma need the emergency room right away. For most red, painful or irritated eyes, an eye doctor is the best first call.
Do I need an appointment for urgent care?
Please call first so we can prepare and give you the earliest available time. Walk-ins may have to wait or come back later.
What if you’re closed?
If it’s after hours and serious, such as sudden vision loss or injury, go to the nearest emergency room. For milder problems, call us when we open.
Should I wear my contacts?
No. If your eye is red or painful, take your contacts out and bring them, along with the case, to your visit.
Is pink eye contagious?
Some types are. Wash hands often, avoid touching your eyes, don’t share towels, and let us check which kind it is so you get the right treatment.
