Contact lens exams in Bellflower
Whether it’s your teen’s first pair or you’ve worn lenses for years, we’ll find the fit, material and schedule that works for your eyes.
Why contacts need their own exam
A glasses prescription isn’t enough to order contact lenses. Because contacts sit directly on your eye, we measure the curve and size of your cornea, check your tear film, and make sure the lens moves and breathes the way it should.
The result is clearer vision, better comfort at the end of the day, and healthier eyes over the long run.

Frequently asked questions
Still have questions? Call (562) 867-4716.
Can I use my glasses prescription to buy contacts?
No. Contact lens prescriptions include extra measurements, such as lens curve, diameter and brand, that only come from a contact lens fitting.
Is my teen old enough for contacts?
Many kids do great with contacts by age 10–12. What matters most is responsibility and good hygiene. We’ll help you decide.
Can I sleep in my contacts?
Unless your doctor has specifically prescribed a lens for overnight wear, don’t. Sleeping in contacts greatly increases the risk of serious eye infections.
Does insurance cover contact lenses?
Many vision plans offer an allowance toward contacts or the fitting. Medi-Cal generally does not cover contact lenses. We’ll check your benefits for you.
How do I reorder?
Just call us at (562) 867-4716 and we’ll take care of it, as long as your prescription is current.
